A thing of Beauty is a joy forever ...

Along the Great Ocean Road, centuries of waves have worn this coastline into dramatic shapes.
The Australian flag has existed in its current state since 1909. It was officially adopted as the Australian flag in 1953.
The colour of Uluru changes as the sun moves through the sky :)
Uluru is a World Heritage Site.
Australia my home is an island continent.
Its cities are as modern and sophisticated as any on earth.
The choice of destinations in Australia are infinite and the rewards unlimited.
Definitely the 'lucky country' this is a land of vast extremes and amazing beauty.
Living & having the opportunity to grow up in this wonderful land gives me a feeling of
joy, fun, excitement & freedom. 
I have been lucky enough to have travelled not only all over my great land but also overseas
and no matter where I am I will always call Australia home. Oh yes... its great being a woman living in Australia... 'one of the best things about being a woman is the prerogative to have a little fun'... and we certainly know how to do that in this land. :).

I was asked have i climbed this.... the answer is Yes and an amazing feeling reaching the top !
The single span stretches 503m over Sydney Harbour. It was completed in 1932.

Surfers Paradise - looking north along the coastline.
The Gold Coast
Beautiful, big and bathed in sunshine nearly all year . 40km of surf and sand awaits the visitor and a lifestyle which puts paradise in the shade. Insert my daughters.

This is the most striking feature of our lengthy coastline.
This area is also known for some of the most picturesque gardens imaginable.
The Three Sisters
Situated in the Blue Mountains. 
The area is famous for rugged cliffs, waterfalls and rainforest gorges.
And yes,  I have been on this skyway and like climbing Ayres Rock a great feat for me as i hate heights lol
Kakadu is 250km East of Darwin, and is crossed by the sandstone cliffs of Arnhem Land.

There are only two seasons up in the north, the wet and the dry.

The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else. Thank you to my guy for allowing me to be myself.

I think it sums up our land admirably.

AN OUTBACK SUNSET

A sunset in the outback
of pink and gold array
of red and orange and yellow
like a fire far away.





 

The clouds like fluffy pillows
turn a reddish pink
the golden sun kissed silhouettes
their beauty makes you think.
